We've written these terms to be understood, not survived. Plain language, real substance, full transparency — because that's how we build trust with creators and brands alike.
Welcome to Scrub. — a creator infrastructure platform built and operated by Synn Studio, a company incorporated and operating under the laws of India. Scrub. is designed to help creators at every scale — from nano and micro creators to established YouTube and Instagram talent — become discoverable, trackable, and connectable with the brands and opportunities that are right for them.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Synn Studio governing your access to and use of the Scrub. platform, including all related websites, applications, APIs, analytics tools, discovery features, and any other services we offer now or in the future (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account, signing in through a third-party authentication provider, connecting a social media account, or otherwise accessing or using the Platform in any manner, you agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of a business, brand, or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and references to "you" throughout this document include that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. Continued use of Scrub. following any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised version.
To use Scrub., you must meet the following eligibility requirements. These exist to protect our community, our partners, and the integrity of the data and connections we facilitate.
- You must be at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you may only use the Platform with the verifiable consent and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and maintain the accuracy of that information at all times.
- You must have the full legal right and authority to connect any third-party accounts (including social media profiles) to the Platform.
- You must not be barred from using the Platform under any applicable law, including the laws of India.
- If registering on behalf of a brand or business, you must have the authority to enter into binding agreements on its behalf.
Scrub. reserves the right to refuse access or terminate accounts where eligibility requirements are not met, or where information provided is found to be false or misleading.
When you register for Scrub., you create a unique account that gives you access to the Platform's features as they are made available to your account type — creator or brand. Your account is personal to you and non-transferable.
Account Security. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including any passwords associated with your account or connected third-party accounts. You agree to notify Synn Studio immediately at synncstudio@gmail.com if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
Your Responsibility. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, regardless of whether you authorized it. Synn Studio is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.
Accurate Information. Providing inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information during registration — including false claims about follower counts, engagement rates, brand affiliations, or identity — is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension or termination. Any partnerships or matches facilitated by the Platform are based on the accuracy of the information you provide.
Scrub. supports authentication and account connection through Google, Facebook, and Instagram. These integrations are entirely voluntary. You are not required to connect any third-party account to use the Platform, though certain features may require specific connections to function.
When you authenticate through or connect a third-party account, you grant Scrub. access only to the specific permissions you explicitly approve through the third party's own authorization flow. Synn Studio does not access, collect, or store any information beyond what has been explicitly authorized through those flows.
- Google OAuth — Used for account sign-in, identity verification, and (for creators) YouTube data access. Scrub. requests the following Google OAuth 2.0 scopes: openid (authentication), userinfo.email (email address), userinfo.profile (name and profile picture), youtube.readonly (read-only access to YouTube channel and video data), and yt-analytics.readonly (read-only access to YouTube Analytics reports). Scrub. never modifies, uploads, or deletes any content on your YouTube account.
- Facebook OAuth — Used for account authentication. Scrub. accesses only the permissions explicitly approved by you during the Facebook login flow, in accordance with Meta's Platform Policy.
- Instagram OAuth — Used for creator onboarding, profile connection, and analytics where authorized. Scrub. accesses Instagram account data only as permitted by the Instagram Graph API and the specific permissions you grant.
Scrub. does not sell, lease, or share your third-party account credentials with any external party. We do not access, store, or use any data from connected accounts beyond the explicit permissions you have granted. Scrub.'s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
A core part of what Scrub. does is analyze creator performance — turning raw social media signals into structured, actionable intelligence. When you register as a creator and connect relevant accounts, Scrub. may collect and process publicly available creator data, platform metrics provided through authorized API connections, and information you voluntarily submit during onboarding.
This data may include, but is not limited to: follower and subscriber counts, engagement rates, content performance metrics, audience demographic signals, growth trends, posting frequency, and niche or category classifications. Scrub. may use this information to generate creator profiles, performance insights, ranking signals, growth projections, forecasts, and discovery recommendations.
Authorized Access Only. Analytics derived from connected accounts are collected exclusively through the permissions you grant. Scrub. does not scrape, reverse-engineer, or otherwise extract data from third-party platforms beyond what is permitted by their APIs and your explicit authorization.
All creator insights, rankings, scores, projections, and forecasts generated by the Scrub. platform are informational estimates only. They do not represent guarantees of accuracy, future performance, or commercial outcomes. Analytics are based on available data at the time of processing and may not reflect real-time conditions. Synn Studio makes no representations regarding the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any such estimates.
Scrub. is building infrastructure that enables creators and brands to discover each other based on data, performance signals, audience quality, and strategic fit. As part of this infrastructure, the Platform may surface creators to brands and surface brand opportunities to creators through recommendation systems, discovery listings, and algorithmic matching.
These recommendations are powered by data signals including engagement metrics, content category alignment, audience demographics, growth trends, and brand-stated campaign objectives. They represent the Platform's best computational inference about potential fit — nothing more.
Recommendations made by Scrub. — whether to a brand, to a creator, or surfaced through any discovery feature — do not constitute, imply, or guarantee any partnership, sponsorship, campaign, contract, revenue arrangement, or commercial outcome of any kind. Discovery on the Platform does not create any obligation on either party. All commercial relationships remain exclusively at the discretion of the parties involved.
The integrity of the Scrub. ecosystem depends on honest, authentic participation. The following activities are strictly prohibited and constitute grounds for immediate account suspension, termination, and where applicable, legal action.
- Fraud, misrepresentation, or impersonation of any person, creator, brand, or organization
- Submitting false, inflated, or misleading metrics, including fabricated engagement rates or subscriber counts
- Purchasing followers, views, likes, comments, or any other form of artificial social media engagement
- Using bots, scripts, or automated systems to interact with the Platform in any way not explicitly authorized
- Scraping, harvesting, or collecting data from the Platform through any automated or manual method without written permission
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code, algorithms, or systems underlying the Platform
- Accessing or attempting to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to use
- Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose under Indian law or the law of your jurisdiction
- Attempting to manipulate ranking systems, recommendation algorithms, or discovery features
- Transmitting malicious code, viruses, or disruptive data through the Platform
Platform Ownership. The Scrub. platform — including its name, visual design, branding, interfaces, underlying code, software architecture, recommendation algorithms, creator scoring systems, analytics engines, data models, and all related intellectual property — is owned exclusively by Synn Studio. All rights are reserved. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the Platform or its intellectual property.
Trademarks. "Scrub.", "Synn Studio", and associated logos and marks are the property of Synn Studio. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.
Your Content. You retain ownership of any content, data, or materials you upload or submit to the Platform. By doing so, you grant Synn Studio a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, process, and analyze that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Platform's services to you.
Feedback. If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Platform, you grant Synn Studio an unrestricted right to use that feedback without obligation or compensation to you.
Scrub. is infrastructure — not a promise. We build the systems that surface opportunity, surface signal, and connect people. What happens next is determined by many factors outside our control, and we believe in being direct about that.
Scrub. and Synn Studio make no guarantees, representations, or warranties — express or implied — regarding any creator's views, subscribers, followers, engagement rates, sponsorship opportunities, revenue, brand partnerships, campaign placements, audience growth, platform growth, or any other commercial or creative outcome.
Creator performance is influenced by content quality, platform algorithm changes, audience behavior, market conditions, brand budgets, and countless other variables that Scrub. does not control. Our analytics and insights are tools to support informed decision-making — they do not constitute professional advice or outcome guarantees of any kind.
You use Scrub. with the understanding that creator careers are inherently uncertain, and that no platform, tool, or infrastructure layer can eliminate that uncertainty.
Scrub. is an actively evolving platform. We are continuously building, testing, and iterating on new capabilities. As a result, certain features you encounter may be in beta — meaning they are available for use but are not yet final in design, behavior, or scope.
Beta features are provided "as-is" without any warranties regarding their reliability, accuracy, or continued availability. We may modify, pause, or discontinue any beta feature at any time without prior notice. Your use of beta features is at your own discretion.
Features currently in beta — including but not limited to creator scoring, growth forecasting, campaign matching, and analytics dashboards — may produce outputs that are experimental in nature. We welcome feedback on beta features at synncstudio@gmail.com.
Synn Studio will make commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Scrub. platform operational and accessible. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or continuous availability of the Platform or any of its features.
The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, unplanned outages, infrastructure failures, third-party service disruptions, security incidents, or events beyond our reasonable control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform — temporarily or permanently — at any time and without prior notice.
Synn Studio shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Platform or any of its features.
Synn Studio reserves the right to suspend, limit, or permanently terminate your account at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, where we determine — in our sole and reasonable discretion — that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or otherwise acted in a manner that harms the Platform, its users, or third parties.
Grounds for suspension or termination include, but are not limited to: violation of the usage rules in Section 07, providing false account information, submitting fraudulent analytics data, attempting to manipulate the Platform's systems, abusing or harassing other users, or engaging in any activity that exposes Synn Studio to legal or reputational risk.
Voluntary Termination. You may delete your account and discontinue use of the Platform at any time by contacting us at synncstudio@gmail.com or through available account settings. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately.
Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall remain in effect after any termination.
Your privacy matters to us. The collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of these Terms.
By using Scrub., you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy, including the collection of account information, connected account data (where authorized), usage analytics, and device or behavioral data used to improve the Platform.
Synn Studio processes personal data as a data controller under applicable Indian data protection law. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Google API Services Compliance. Scrub.'s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Our Privacy Policy contains a complete disclosure of the specific Google user data we access, how we use it, how it is shared, how it is stored and protected, and how users can request its deletion.
Where Scrub. operates integrations with third-party platforms such as Google, Meta, and Instagram, your use of those platforms is also governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service, which are independent of Synn Studio.
We respect your right to control your data. The following rights are available to all Scrub. users, and we are committed to honoring them promptly.
- Account Deletion: You may request full deletion of your Scrub. account at any time by emailing synncstudio@gmail.com. Upon receiving a valid request, we will permanently erase all your data — including Google OAuth tokens, YouTube analytics, profile information, and backups — within 30 business days.
- Connected Account Disconnection: You may disconnect any linked social media account (Google, Facebook, Instagram) at any time through Platform settings or directly through the respective platform. For Google, visit myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Data Deletion Request: You may request deletion of all stored platform data associated with your account, including all Google user data. When your account is deleted, all related data — creator profiles, analytics records, OAuth tokens, campaign history, and payment records — are automatically and permanently deleted via cascading database deletes.
- Permission Revocation: You may revoke third-party OAuth permissions at any time through the connected platform's settings, independent of your Scrub. account.
- Data Export: You may request a full export of all data Scrub. holds about you at any time by contacting us directly.
Platform Provided As-Is. The Scrub. platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Synn Studio does not warrant that the Platform will meet your requirements or that it will operate uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of Damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Synn Studio, its founders, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, missed opportunities, or business interruption — arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, regardless of the cause and whether or not Synn Studio was advised of the possibility of such damages.
Cap on Liability. In all cases, Synn Studio's total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Synn Studio in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 1,000.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Synn Studio reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide notice through the Platform, by email, or through other reasonable means.
Your continued access to or use of the Platform following the publication of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may request account deletion as described in Section 14.
We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. We will always maintain the most current version at this URL.
These Terms and any disputes arising from or related to them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
